Croning Ceremonies

“Every woman possesses a captivating beauty. Every woman. But for most of us it has been long buried, wounded and captive. It takes time for it to emerge into wholeness. It needs to be cultivated, restored, set free. Contrary to what the world claims, Beauty does not diminish with time; Beauty deepens and increases. True beauty comes from a depth of soul that can only be attained through living many years well.”

These words, written by John and Stasi Eldredge in the book ‘Captivating, Unveiling the mystery of a Woman’s Soul’, reminds us that, as women, we bring the great energy of mothering to the world.

When we reach menopause, we truly reach a stage where we enter the role of the archetypal mother, where we bring the love of the eternal mother to those around us, no longer needing to fear rejection, not being right, not doing right – for when we reach this stage, we are ready to enter into a divine relationship with ourselves that is deepened by our love of life, our lessons learnt and our hearts broken open.

The Croning Ceremony celebrates our willingness, as mature women, to embrace the role of the Mother – not biological, but the archetypal, nurturing woman who lives with a quiet knowing every moment of her day, that all is well and all will be well, and who brings this oneness with Spirit, this soul-song, to all who enters her world.I do encourage that everyone who chooses to enter this ceremony, prepare for it by doing work that I provide, for at least a period of one month before making a final decision, as this process requires of us the ability to let go.
